James Wilde’s second album for Late Bloomer Music, “Pilgrims & Refugees,” is another eclectic mix of beautiful Americana songs. Produced by Denny Martin and featuring top Nashville studio talent, this music is melodic, thoughtful, and (as the title implies) addresses themes of migration and the sojourn.  James Wilde brings his versatile vocal style and energy to uptempo story songs like Tapping Out and Question of the Heart, a bittersweet yearning to sad laments like Senorita Please, and a wistful feeling to wanderer songs like I’m a Pilgrim Too, Tobacco Road and Bend in the River.
